A.C.E.S. Attendance:
A.C.E.S. is an incentive-based attendance program designed to motivate students to attend school regularly.
A.C.E.S. reinforces the importance of arriving at school on time and staying at school for the entire day. Tardies and early dismissals result in lost instructional time. For the purposes of this program, 4 tardies and/or early dismissals will be counted as an instructional absence.
A.C.E.S recognizes that excused and unexcused absences have the same negative impact on academic performance. For the purposes of this program, all absences will be counted the same for rewards.
Rewards and Incentive:
Traveling Trophies - A K/2 trophy and a 3/5 trophy will travel to the classroom with the highest percentage attendance each month.
Monthly Rewards will be given to the classroom in each grade level with the highest percentage of attendance.
Perfect Attendance Drawing - Students with perfect attendance for the quarter will be entered into a prize drawing
Weekly Perfect Attendance Homework Pass - Students with perfect attendance will receive a free homework pass.
Awesome Attendance Kickball Game: Students with an attendance rate of 95% or above get a ticket to attend a staff vs. student kickball game.
Support and Encouragement:

Parent/Student/School Conference - Classroom teacher with the support of the school counselor and administration will request a conference with the family (including the student) to discuss attendance, sign an attendance contract and problem solve any barrier to school attendance.
